A Spontaneous Series of Drawings Created in the Aftermath of September 11

The “September 11 Series” of 13 pastel drawings was created in the aftermath of 9/11 as a spontaneous response to that catastrophic event. The immediacy with which the series developed in the four weeks following 9/11 gives the work a diary-like quality. Each drawing has a story. All are pastel & charcoal on paper. 14 x 11 inches.
